Donate to Esthers Campaign

Esther Rantzen has launched her new website http://www.esther4luton.com
and is now accepting donations for her campaign to become an Independent MP in Luton South constituency.

The people of Luton have had a raw deal and been left high and dry without an MP since the expenses scandal, when Margaret Moran, claimed large expenses for dry rot and gardening for her flipped second home!

Esther is standing on an anti sleaze ticket, and has a fantastic campaigning track record, and is very passionate in her aims to help Luton people regain control of thier own constituency, with an elected independent MP that speaks directly for them, with no party whip telling her how to vote!

Donations can be made at http://www.esther4luton.com and we will understand she is building a huge groundswell of support in Luton South, finally it is possible politics can be claimed back for the people.

Esther Rantzen Opens her Luton Advice Office

Esther Rantzen, has opened her advice office in Luton South, She will be using the office to meet many supporters and constituents of the Luton South area, who have been left without an MP, Indeed Luton people are the only constituents in the whole of the UK who are unrepresented in Parliament.

Well wishers and offers of support have been flooding into her Luton Offices, and she is available by appointment to meet residents or business owners who live and work in Luton South.

Esther is on record as saying that "for too long the people of Luton South have been unrepresented, and failed by Margaret Moran, people say the Labour MP just doesn't care, and has failed to answer letters, and concerns of residents, on local issues"

The local Labour Party and town council still support Moran, who has been off sick for month's, even though she has been denounced by Gordon Brown.

Esther Rantzen - On Independent MP's

Esther Rantzen talks about how she believes we can change UK politics for the better.

Veteran investigative journalist and Childline founder and peoples campaigner famous for her "That's Life" BBC show, that exposed local injustices and issues in the 70's and 1980's has announced she will stand on the anti-sleaze expenses ticket in Luton South, initially against disgraced Labour MEP and MP Margaret Moran, who used Luton taxpayers money (expenses) to pay for furniture, gardening, extension, and dry rot in her second home, which was flipped. She vows to stand down at the next General Election, So she does'nt have to fight against Esther Rantzen.

Martin Bell - A Very British Revolution - Expenses Interview

Martin Bell, talks openly and candidly about how, we the people of this land can make a difference in 2010 and take UK politics and shape our own destiny, rather than let the corrupted, stale political machines of the past carry on and do it for us.

We do have our best chance next year, to vote with our feet and stamp out corruption, sleaze and scandal, and allow, the independent MP who cares about our town or community, to win the seat, and take a seat in a new style house of commons. probably a hung parliament, which will allow independents to be able to vote with their hearts for an on behalf of the constituents, and listen rather than force views and agenda's or be led by a party whip and a pager.

He talks about how the political classes have been shattered, and the trust from the public is gone, He enthuses and talks of a very British Revolution.

Part Two Interview:

The Rise and Rise of the New Independent MP

2010 will see the greatest number of  prospective Independent MP's stand in the UK General Election.

The rise of the independent MP has been charted steadily since Martin Bell, stood and won a lanslide victory against disgraced Conservative MP Neil Hamilton in Tatton in 1997, and more recently Dr. Richard Taylor stood and got elected with a landslide win for Wyre Forest, amid a campaign centred around an ordinary man who cared about his
local hospital.

Whether it is Esther Rantzen, fighting the Labour anti-sleaze expenses

scandal in Luton South or a local figure fighting Hazel Blears in Salford, People are finally standing up and being counted, indeed it is not too late for you too to become an independent MP, and help sweep change into an outdated Westminster, and revitalise our political heritage rather than leave it in the gutter.
